Rocks

There are many rocks in North America that come in all different sizes and shapes.  Rocks are of four different types:  Sedimentary, Igneous, Metamorphic, and Granite. The rocks are formed by various means and have many different characteristics.  The study of rocks and the earth is called geology.  A person that studies rocks and the earth is called a geologist.
